Hey, I am a photographer after all :) These are some pics from The Great Western Bike Rally. It's a yearly event where thousands of people come together, camp and go on rides. Nothing too organized. Just a bunch of rides you can do. This year it was in Paso Robles again, so I had the great opportunity to ride through some amazing rolling hills.
Oh. And you may see a few of these pop up in some Adventure Cycling literature.

nice pics. I think I have seen them before. Not all though. I like the portraiture of the gentleman, the pic before the abandoned car. Good use of DOF.
Hi Russ! Great pics! As a hobbyist photographer and cyclist I love the subject of your blogs. I was wondering what your photog-bike setup is when you are out on tours or rides. I would love to take my DSLR out on rides but haven't figured out a good, safe way to do that yet. My husband and I are doing our first supported tour next month and I'm trying to figure out how to do it. My P&S is a Canon S3 IS which is not jersey-pocket friendly because of its size. Anyway, I was just wondering how you got about camera and bike wise. Thanks so much for the great pics and blogs of things of interest to me! Keep it up!
