Wool, Twine and All Things Fine in Cycle Touring
Amazing! Thank you so much for that one--I think anyone considering a tour should be shown that video as an appetizer!! I am jonesing for a trip real bad, and this just made it worse...
That looked like a blast. I love the 45MPH sign with a 25MPH Hard left sign not 20 feet down the road. See 3:49 for what I mean.
Nice! How did you mount your camcorder? I bought one after reading your blog.
RTP...i used a jobo Gorilla Pod (the big one for DSLRs)...I would say that it worked OK...still kind of slid around...A nice feature is that it has a QR for the mounting plate so I can go from bike-mounted to handicam in 5 seconds...not completely happy with it...a Bogen SuperClamp would be the most stable, but not as fast to use...Maybe I'll do an entry on the video gear...
Thanks for the info. I might buy a Super Clamp and see what I can do with it. I just posted a short clip from a ride I did yesterday using a low budget homemade mount for my Flip.
